Man, what an extremely blessed adaptation for My Dress-Up Darling. Get one of these genuine grand-slam out of the park adaptations like once a year, if you're lucky it feels like. The only issue it stops at a point that leaves it questionable if we'll get the rest. It's not a bad stopping point tho.

Honestly, My Dress Up Darling is a great show for a lot of reasons, but probably my favorite thing about it is the length it goes to actually show the various pieces of media the group cosplays as. Season 2 is actually a step up in that regard, which is saying something.

Digimon Beatbreak was super good this week.
This is a good cast right here. I liked the cast of Ghostgame, but in terms of storytelling, it's clear Beatbreak is has far loftier expectations.
It does suffer from a lack of Yu Shimamura aka Jellymon calling someone darling, but nothing perfect.

Easily the best chapter of Sakamoto Days in a bit. Nice mix of action and humor, art seems more consistent, and this got a good chuckle out of me.

The latest MHA episode was the set-up to the final FINAL battle, and it was mostly solid. Some good music choices.
That said, AFO in Shiggy's body looked bad in the manga imo and it looks bad here too.

He created so much in a short time, but Broly is probably my favorite work of his. Getting to oversee a work that so drastically and effectively shook up how modern Dragon Ball can look must have been a huge task.

I don't particularly care for the Gravity Rush games, but I do hope Toyama gets to make another one, if only cause it's the sort of game Sony has spent the past decade running full-steam away from.

Predator Badlands
Great action flick that genuinely nails almost all of the risks it takes narratively. Real big fan of how quickly things get moving, and the decision to not use Predator tech we've mostly seen before.
Feels good to have two really great Predator movies back to back.

I think it's fine to dislike Predator Badlands, and not care for the direction it takes the series, but I don't know how anyone can argue it ruins the series when The Predator exists.

Today's MHA episode had some really nice animation cuts, especially this short but really dynamic cut by Jason Yao, but it doesn't fix the problem I had with the manga where it feels like the fight is just 90% characters talking about what is happening rather than dynamically showing it.

Everyone is allowed their opinion, but personally, I like the more simple design we're getting in the final arc. Asta has never looked better than he does in the final battle imo. (Shoutout to chapters 377 and 378, which my son looks just so handsome in.)

Little bit of debate in the Black Clover fandom about whether or not Asta's devil union looked better in the spade arc, when it was more of a suit of armor.

So you got two key screens on when it comes time to deliver packages as a postal worker, the one you use to scan packages as they're delivered and one that allows to see what places have to be delivered to.
They finally updated our scanners so you can easily switch between those two screens.

Very interested in what happens in Godzilla Minus 0, but I don't know how you make that Godzilla seem more evil, short of making him look more evil, like the one from All Out Attack.

This sucks so much. Like I realize writing game reviews doesn't pull in the big bucks, and everything sucks right now, but if you're gonna review a musao game, the people reviewing it should be at least open to the appeal they offer.
