Same page. X is useless. And I do think there are some intellectually curious people getting lost because they aren’t hearing a story that speaks to them. Dems are busy saying “Immigration is bad!” Instead of “Immigration is vital and the rich just want to steal from you” bc they are the rich.

I don’t think this means being on Twitter is useful, but The Times Rabbit Hole podcast was supposed to be about the algorithm radicalizing a young guy into Jordan Peterson, MAGA, etc. But he became progressive watching his favorite YouTubers lose debates. www.nytimes.com/column/rabbi...

The kid even got a job on a fishing boat in Alaska so he could get some structure and his life on track, but when he showed up at the airport he was told he was on a “No fly list.” He lost the job and immediately started receiving recruitment emails from a secret jihadi group - the FBI.

What! It’s not like there was a time a dad called the FBI for help with his son, and then the FBI created a fake terror group to recruit the son and plan a Christmas tree lighting bombing.

And we know the plot was the kids idea because of the recording…oops, the tape was corrupted for that portion

I wrote about the devil’s bargain artists are forced into, and how we can start to change things.

But getting into a Discovery Mode playlist can be big for artists. Spotify incentivizes putting out soothing background music and even has offered tools to help artists change songs to hit that groove

That’s the key. Plenty has been written about the use of race as a wedge to break worker power, but I’ve seen little that centers the conversion of the worker into the consumer in the 80s as the coup de grâce in the war on labor. Cost is King.

seriously. It’s a very weird take. I’ve not been to a more pleasant and less painful airport in the U.S. It’s an airport with price controls!

Any airport with Burgerville is champion level.
