Just a regular Thursday in 2025 having to explain to my 5yo that the 5 second rule has been extended to 7 seconds due to the current state of the economy.

I just want you to know that… my kitten just got all hyper and so I mimicked her and she chased me like I’m a kitten, too. And it was fun. And now my body reminds me that I am, in fact, an almost 40 year old human and I need like an hour to recover from that. 😹
