The production will be led by Marianne Garger (Disney’s “Pocahontas”, Dreamworks’ “Madagascar”), Latifah Ouaou (Shreks 2 & 3, “Puss in Boots”), and original creators Brian Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, and will be directed by Lauren Montgomery (“Young Justice”).

this project is a hybrid animation that combines traditional 2D animation and modern CGI — similar to the style of LOK — and will be produced based on the worldview of the original, ATLA.
