and I'm sure there are better mechanical pencils out there, but I imprinted on the Pilot Airblanc 0.3mms in college (again, the Japanese ones, because it's really hard to find .5 and .3 mms in the US and I need my graphite sharp enough to draw blood)

I'll leave actual fountain pen recommendations to @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com, but I've had a lot of fun using the disposable Pilot vpens as someone who is bad at sticking to one pen (and not accidentally leaving them places all the time) so finds a cheap disposable better than something fancier

in addition!!! The double ended Zebra Mildliners are by far my favorite highlighters out there
