I am at least temporarily caring for this rooster, but he is SO SPROINGY, and I am terrified he is going to jump over the fence and go running off into the woods 😭
I might have to keep him in the night pen 24/7 for his own protection 😭

I lost my very first duck I ever rescued today- Woodrow, the one who started it all. He was 12 years old and half blind, but still spry and spunky until he began a rapid decline a few weeks ago. Rest in peace, sweet Woodrow. A lot of ducks have been saved because of you. Love you always 🩷🦆

This is one of my little blind ducks, Mercédès, trying to locate her family. She spins in circles and calls out until she hears them reply and then follows the sound. 😭 I carried her to them because they were pretty far away and no one was replying.
