As you suspected, the first two will be upscales, but Japan will be getting them on 4k UHD Blu-ray in December. The third movie seems to be a proper master according to this source at least.

I’m betting its the Amazon dub as that seemed to be more involved line with what studio Khara wanted. The back of the box does mention it is a GKIDS release as you suspected.

Went to the One Piece café last week during the soft opening period. I appreciate that they have vege options and the onigiri I ordered was yummy. 😋 🏴☠️ It’s small but pretty cute in there.

Examples of Disney erasing queer themes (Elio, Win or Lose) or sabotaging the films that are too far into production to be able to change (Strange World) just keep piling up. I don’t see how this does not lead to their creative teams burning out from not being allowed to tell their personal stories.

The winds have calmed down vs how they were last night, but going on no power for 12+ hours. So much smoke looking up into the mountains and I can see some ash on the patio furniture. Hope everyone and their pets make it out safe and that this is over soon. 🙏
