Also, evidence for gender-affirming care was held to a higher standard than the evidence used to support recommendations of the report. Basically they were like… you have to include 500 pieces of evidence that unequivocally support your claim but we only need 20 gray arguments to hold up our side.

Non-scientific literature was used, the authors deviated from scientific protocols that are used for the purpose of being objective, rigor of statistics proved insufficient, claims could not be traced back to published scientific literature.

The cass report was heavily criticized by professions across world. The methodology is flawed. The authors selectively used evidence to state claims with full context where the same evidence did not make their case. Clinical procedures for conducting research were ignored.
