Finally, the #locallibrary provided stacks of things to make me feel like I was in my 20s again, hopeful to learn, excited to make stuff.

I even watched the Harry Potter series for the first time ever with my mom, 77-yrs-old at the time, 78 now. Transformers: One was a lot of fun, too!

A part of my brain started to stir when ex-coworkers/friends that still keep an email thread going published works. Then there was the gallery day in San Francisco to see art in person for the first time in ages. Really beautiful, intriguing art. #inspiringpeople

It has been a challenge for her just to finish this set from UP! The house and all the minifigures are all so freaking kawaii, and it has been a lesson in patience, & understanding we all age and our minds slow down.

This seems so integral as we enter an era of even more screen time. We all scroll, like, share, & scroll some more (me included because those animal videos sure relieve stress).
Even my senior mom can't stop watching things on FB & IG. We'll do more LEGO together today though!
