I have both read and seen it! The movie is pretty faithful to the novel and adds some pretty neat stuff.

I actually loved Wolf Man. But it does fall into that exhausted horror trope of "it was generational trauma all along". I think we don't often see enough movies where the dad is trying not to be a bad example for his child(ren), but the mom kinda sucks, and I think that's worth celebrating.

I'm a cis het guy and wasn't totally onboard with We're All Going To The World's Fair but the sense of alienation I felt watching I Saw The TV Glow really wrecked my shit. It just lives in my head now.
