To be clear I say all of this as a compliment too. I cannot look away, I can't just give up on Denji or his world. A story should make you feel SOMETHING, and Chainsaw Man makes me feel A Lot All The Time.

I have no idea what's going to happen anymore, either. I want to believe that Denji can overcome yet another horrifically manipulative woman in his life, but... our boy has been fucked for so long. I'm terrified for the future of this manga, what horrid things will appear before me next.

The amount of horrific toxic people I've stuck with for nearly a decade just because they kept pouring honey on their words whenever they saw me start to stand up for myself... Chainsaw's always been a hard series to read, but wow it's so fucking painful right now
