by the way, the only time women are mentioned in this 30-minute documentary is a) the phone operator, and b) "perhaps, in the future, women will be shopping like this". All the other examples of using telephones are specifically underlined as men. the default gender relations in 1960 were wiiiiild.

I think for some time, the recommendation was to install MS CoreFonts, but then everything would look even uglier and less consistent. right now ubuntu's font defaults are Just Fine, imo

i've seen a lot of people go for nixos recently! seems to be made for the kind of people who think that arch is baby shit for them. personally im okay with kubuntu but only after i yank out all the annoying personal preferences of ubuntu devs like "no flatpak" and "no hibernation"
