I ended up making it to work a mere two minutes late, but I’d love those unnecessary frantic and panicked moments of my life back please, @mta.info… do better.

So I, along with an angry mass of humanity similarly inconvenienced by the @mta.info, rush upstairs to ground level and attempt to jump en masse onto already overcrowded M14 buses.

After a BUNCH more bullshit (trains in the station on both platforms, neither of them going to 8th Avenue) an announcement finally comes through that no trains WILL be going to 8th Avenue. After 15 minutes cooling my heels on the platform, this news was very irritating.

And now it’s officially been 9 minutes…. No train…

An announcement alerting us to the next 8th Avenue bound L train was helpfully interrupted with a reminder to avoid slips and trips on the platform.

Then a Union Square bound train comes ON THE WRONG TRACK into the station, promptly stopping in the tunnel. Get it together people.

You poor darling!!!
