That's like SL. I wouldn't expect anything like that in the near future sadly but maybe someday.
At least you can buy an avatar on the market that comes with outfits to mix and match and color to your taste. Something nice for the people who don't have PC's

For minority of people who can use these files, the market would a great way to test an avatar inworld before going directly to the creators site to buy the full version. Most of vrc cant even use the files anyway. So the market is perfect for them and at the same time more money goes to the artists

I feel like I'm doing damage control here... but I'm very optimistic about this considering part of the reason I quit VRC many years ago was because SecondLifes market pays my bills. If people don't like the way things are going after release, I'm confident it will be addressed.

The majority of SecondLife products are no mod, with no access to any files. There is a small handful of mod stores.
My store is one of them but its mostly furry stores that are allowing modding with devkits. I still believe people are judging this to fast. I hoping it will bring in new creators.

The market announcement has me hyped as a creator. I assume this is for the majority of VRC that doesn't even have PC access. People can basically buy a base version from the vrc market and if they really enjoy it and have a pc. they can go to the creators site and buy the full version with files.
