Morning coffee time is an important ritual for my sweeties, and the only time they willingly snuggle together

Last years artichoke blooms are exploding!

The sky brightened when the snow started swirling and covering lawn and branches. Then the sunshine starting making its way through the clouds and the yard just lit up. Joyous!

Chicken of the Woods. LaPush Washington. I was amazed at the vibrancy.

Chasing shadows! A bird shadow on curtain had her from across the room to the very top of curtain in a flash. I was slack-jawed in awe and only captured her on her way down.

I’m doing winter sowing now too, to satisfy that craving to get seeding, and stratify seeds that need it. Process takes over part of my kitchen, and well worth the mess.

Dead stalks in the beds this time of year, but looking forward to seeing who appears on the sunflowers next summer
