Omg and when that didn’t stick, they refused again to take accountability by wanting him deported to UGANDA. A country he has never had ties to. It makes me sick the way they overreached.

What is really upsetting about all of this is that this caused a lot of trauma to an innocent man and his family, all while wasting funds AND simultaneously not spending those resources on legitimate violent crime. I will be hopeful Abrego’s case sets a precedent in the future

This is a pretty apt take and made me realize what it was about their latest evolution that ate at me. I listened to Sleep Token frequently when they first entered the metal scene and found them charming since I was a metalhead who already loved indie. They seemed genuine then but manufactured now.
