Accessory to genocide is probably what best describes the US’ and the European Union’s stance on Israel’s mass killing and forced displacement of civilians in Gaza and the total destruction of civil infrastructures. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/17/w...

Here is some background data that shows how unprecedented Friedrich Merz's defeat in today's federal chancellor election is. It's the first since time since 1949 that a candidate is not elected in the first round.

“Getting rich, getting clean” was yesterday. “Drill, Baby, Drill” is today. The Kuznets Curve is rebounding from it’s glass bottom.

I built this generator, which randomly spits out titles for master's and doctoral theses in political science. Take a look and share it with your students! But don't take it too seriously ...
Here are some examples.

The Routledge Handbook of Environmental Policy which I co-edited with @cknill.bsky.social and Yves Steinebach provides a state-of-the-art review of research on environmental policy and governance. It reviews theoretical, conceptual, and empirical developments in environmental policy analysis.

Only ~1000 bottles were made of this fantastic Alentejo white #wine and the only way to buy it is directly from the winemaker João Rita Barroso. Made from Arinto and Antão Vaz grape varieties, the 2022 Idealizado is a powerful, yet complex wine with well integrated acids. Try it if you can.

Back in Germany. In a university guest house. No beer in the fridge, but an A4 page full of instructions on how to correctly separate waste. In a guestroom. At the airport. At the train station. Germany immediately lets you know what really counts in life.

You don’t find this in a supermarket. A powerful, complex & concentrated Alentejo white, made from the Arinto and Antão Vaz grape varieties with a touch of Verdelho. Casa Clara makes great wines under the name Monte da Capela, but the Herdade da Capela wines are truly exceptional.
