As a contemporary artist in Belgium, my world revolves around creating meaningful pieces that reflect my values. I strive to capture freedom, dreams, and the beauty that life offers, drawing inspiration from nature and the exquisite moments I encounter.
I made a brand video of my art.
What do you think about it?

Trust builds slowly – like a cat choosing not to pounce, and a bird choosing not to fly away.
A new sculpture that explores tension, tenderness, and the possibility of connection.
Now on view at De Zomer van Wechel this August.

In the Quiet, I Remember You

A hush of blue, a bloom in glass,
Where time and color gently pass.
The goldfish floats through painted light,
In swirls of pink and petal white.
He dreams of claws in coral red—
The lobster sleeps, his secrets spread.

In the Garden of Daydreams, she grows, allows you to dream and fantasize, even when you're already an adult.
The precisely applied colored dots bring contrast, refinement, and imagination.
My inspiration for these colorful circles came from Klimt, whom I have admired since childhood.

I created this work when the news was filled with so much misery about the war in Gaza. It is an ode to all the children in the universe who should have the right to sleep carefree and dream about all the fun and fantastic moments yet to come.

Why did I name the work Opium?
When my oldest daughter, hugged me, she said,
'Mmm, you smell like mom.' That scent brought her back to her childhood when she cozied up to her mother. I was wearing the same perfume as I used to back then, and Opium, in this case, is a highly acceptable addiction.
