It's fairly common in London. Back when I worked on the Thames foreshore I woud expect to find a Ganesh or two on the river in September-October time. Sometimes it would be ones that are designed to dissolve in the water, so I assume they're available here.

I had a poke about on the foreshore and found a jetty and few other features. There's more work to do, we'll be back...

I had the same thoughts earlier this year. I tried so hard to become a tube zombie and zone it all out, but I just can't access that part of my brain any more.

Also I had completely forgotten where to stand on the platform to get off at Euston. ffs.
