Having worked in 3, the figure I observed was nowhere approaching that number.

My son went to private school. He had a diagnosis of additional need due to ADHD/ASD. The school did not allow him extra time. It simply is not the case that private kids with private diagnoses get ET.

Having worked in 3 independent schools for 7 years it is most certainly not true. Far fewer!

Well why would they? Unless we accept that schools are child minding hubs….

In fact it was more, “Ye int queue?”
And my childhood accent was Hull so not quite North Yorkshire. But I tried!

I sympathise! Mine is because I joined this summer and I’d just moved to N Yorks after the majority of my life spent in the Midlands. As a child I had a Yorkshire accent so sometimes I dust it off and try it out on an unsuspecting public. “You int queue luv?” was today’s attempt 😊

But if you had AI you wouldn’t need classrooms and schools. Study would be wherever. So AI wouldn’t need to manage behaviour

I use chat GPT to help me generate questions or summarise an article sometimes but I’ve not had success with anything else from any program

I agree
January 9, 2025 at 10:34 PM
This is a spoof, right?
January 9, 2025 at 10:26 PM
🤣

I agree. It’s overall feeling like I am valued and trusted to do my best that has made the difference in the good and happy schools. But as well as professional trust, the ability to voluntarily cover a colleague was so good. Everyone managed to be a good parent to their own children for a change!

Autonomy for teachers. Trust from leadership. Allowances made for real life eg. staff getting other staff to volunteer cover while they attended their child’s sports day. Sense of teamwork and community. Few duties.
New initiatives only with agreement.
Excellent behaviour from children.

Vital for Economics and Business because the landscape changes very fast especially for Economics. Last years resources are no longer useful
January 9, 2025 at 12:59 PM
I’ve worked in several. Honestly.
January 9, 2025 at 12:57 PM
Yes of course. I was forgetting the journalistic appeal of the story.
January 5, 2025 at 10:55 PM
Thanks. I’ll take a look
January 5, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Oh no. That sounds very trying. Please ask for help before you think you need it
January 5, 2025 at 3:17 PM
I don’t understand why the BBC has given a bloke who is just a rich American a voice in uk politics. I think he needs to sod right off
January 5, 2025 at 3:16 PM
That’s actually really sad one 😢
