A group of ducks flocking to where some food has just been thrown. There is a mix of male and female mallard ducks. The females have all brown feathers, the male have a mixture of brown and white and teal coloured heads. Some of them are only just started to get their head colour show through. A mandarin duck in the lake. It is moving towards the left. You can see it's reflection in the water, ripples in the water behind it as it's moving and green leaves in the water in the background from something that is growing in the water. The duck is male so has many colours a red bill, white-striped face with orange "whiskers," a purple chest with white bars, pale orange flanks, and distinctive large, orange, sail-like feathers on its back. A magpie stood on our driveway the driveway is grey tarmac. The magpie has grey legs,white underside and on either side of it's body, it has black head and back. Part of it's front feathers are also black. It has a shortish stubby tail which has hints of blue, black, and green in it.
