Good to see a flock of 30 crossbills last week in my local wood. Also a good flock of around 40 siskin. Nice birds to see.

Recently I Found another lovely little Firecrest down the lane. I hope a mate finds him soon and I’m also wondering if he is a juvenile from last year.

The frogs and toads have come back to some of the ponds in Savernake. Amazing to see and hear them all calling.
