"WE WON'T BE DIVIDED" stated one sign. The truth is that we have been all too divided for too long. We must diligently practice the skills, the arts, the collaborative adaptations of listening, sharing, understanding, problem-solving, planning, and acting in solidarity. And caring for each other.

Many other unions and activists for the rights of many other groups targeted by the Trump administration marched, danced, shouted side by side. And talked to each other, comparing notes, fears, rages, possibilities. Many immigrants wore masks. Speech is no longer free for them. Costs are mounting.
