Besonders in der Nacht vom 13. auf den 14. Dezember lohnt sich der Blick in den Himmel, denn dann erreichen die sogenannten Geminiden ihr Maximum. Ihren Namen haben sie vom Sternbild Zwillinge (lat.: Gemini), aus dessen Richtung sie zu kommen scheinen.

- In public discourse, man-made climate change is often no longer denied. Instead, effective course of action is deliberately delayed. If we learn to recognise elements of these discourses of delay, we can also counter-argue and weaken them.

- Combating climate change is not synonymous with abstinence or giving something up, it is also a great opportunity for individual and social gain (better health, lower mortality rates, etc...)

- Not all supposedly pro-environmental actions are actually effective. For example, it is better to make a little more effort and mend a piece of clothing than to buy something new with sustainable production.

- Everyone really can do something to combat climate change. This something is different for each of us and doesn’t necessarily imply overhauling one’s lifestyle completely. An all-or-nothing attitude isn’t effective or helpful.
