Hey diddle diddle- I’ve drawn a lot of cats playing instruments over the years. Here’s one that moves. Just for fun - not part of any book - probably. ( No AI ofcourse but it is so rough I doubt anyone would think it was.) #animation #art #art.sky #cat #dog #bigcity

‘The Taming of the Cat’ just came out in paperback. It has 20 chapters and copious illustrations - so not my usual fare, but children and reviews have liked it. It’s a fairytale with cats, mice and a lot of cheese.

My walk was full of golden leaves today. Time to post this from 'Pumpkin Soup'. it was inspired by the leaves, and small cabins in the woods of New England.

I am very thrilled and honoured to be invited to be on the judging panel for the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize. I’ll post more about it periodically as we want everyone to know about these special books. Hundreds of children will be involved too - very exciting.
