Like, yeah, I get what the image in popular consciousness is, but I cannot emphasize enough how much, in the actual trans femme community, t4t is considered the default and t4c is considered the exception to the rule

So no, trans women are not trying to trick cis men or turn straight men gay. The amount of us who even date cishet men to begin with is tiny (and I say that as one who does sometimes date cishet men, albeit with mixed results)

If you’re unaware, t4t means trans for trans, and statistically it’s what most of us go for. I think like 80% of trans women are with trans women (and good chunk of the remaining 20% date either trans men or nonbinary folks)
