I help schools support their staff through perimenopause and menopause so that they can keep on doing their jobs in the way we know they can.
2/2 to help managers navigate difficult conversations when support is required:

to set up support groups;

to train menopause champions;

to help schools create a menopause policy that works for their school and really means something.

Drop me a line and we can get started!

3/3 When the cracks start to show it has an impact on everyone around us, because we are crucial to so much.

If there's a lesson that perimenopause and menopause can teach us, it's that it's time to look after our own wellbeing. If we don't, the consequences don't just affect us.

2/3 Meanwhile perimenopause creeps up. More and more weird stuff keeps happening. We start to recognise clear symptoms. It starts to get harder and harder. But we're used to toughing it out, so we do.

Only we can't tough it out forever.

2/2 It can lead to a loss of confidence, but we're not going to let that happen. We're going to push back and figure out how to deal with it.

2/2 I do this through talks, workshops, training managers and menopause champions, group and one-to-one menopause mentoring, and policy scoping and support.

Prices start at £140.

Drop me a line and we can figure out what's best for you.

4/4 I can help you write that policy - either by conducting a full scoping process with your staff and drafting an appropriate one, or by mentoring a member of staff who wants to lead on it - or by facilitating a menopause steering group.

3/4
📝 You need it because it's a tool to inform staff about perimenopause which can show up up in unexpected ways and get missed.

📝 You need it because it's an important element of caring for the wellbeing of your staff.

📝You need one that means something. That people know about and buy into.

2/4
📝 You need it because staff need to know what to do when they are struggling with menopause and perimenopause.

📝 You need it because those staff need to have confidence that they can have that difficult conversation in a sensitive and practical way.

2/2 At that point they smell like toffee and taste incredible infused into brandy.

I might also make some medlar jelly. And if anyone else knows what else to do with them let me know, because my tree is still groaning with them!

2/2 I can promise you they weren't talking about menopause.

But still we worry about being negative. About being judged as negative. About avoiding those conversations in case it seems negative to others.

So this is in praise of negativity - of the non-toxic kind.

4/4 How do we make sure your school 'gets it' and can find sensible ways of supporting you through?

You call me. Because I know how to deal with this particular bear!
