Let no one forget that the 1st Amendment of the Constitution explicitly protects freedom of Assembly AND to Petition the Government for redress of grievances.

There's apparently amendments floated to reverse at least that disaster. Everyone call your Senators, esp. if you live in a state with "moderate" Republicans or questionable Dems.

#HandsOff Portland. Wow it was crowded. Watched the first-out marchers from a tree, and the road was packed in front of my view for over 20 minutes before it cleared enough to join in.
