Linux support currently is not a priority, primarily due to the SteamVR issues on Linux. After the next feature update is ready (it'll include a decent amount of refactoring amongst things), I'll look into how difficult getting it to work on Linux would be, but there are no guarantees.

at launch only minor things to work properly on steam (that's all the commits since 1.5.1 are for)
after launch ill be working on some improvements and a ui rework, which you will be able to test in the betas section!
