Unsolicited advice: DayQuil with an effective decongestant (i.e., get pseudoephedrine, not phenylephrine) will go a long way, but don't double up on decongestants unless you want to go from heroic to mythic difficulty.

Blackfuse was an interesting example because it was a really fun/complex fight when the volume of combat log events *seemed* to grow so much that bringing an Enhancement Shaman (with Stormlash Totem, Fire Nova) acted as another multiplier that would cause lag/frameloss -- with or without addons.

You might be surprised. :) I do appreciate the addon API being available, especially such that we can address UX and a11y issues. The modern UI borrows a fair amount from addon design over two decades.
