I remember bursting out laughing on multiple occasions when I first played Bowser’s Inside Story. Bowser himself is hilarious and steals the show, which is fitting considering this is the closest he has to his own game.

My answer is BK: Nuts and Bolts. It was the reason I got an Xbox 360 which then allowed me to replay the N64 games when they came to XBLA. I loved my 360 and I’m glad most of my games can be played on the Series X. Nuts and Bolts is a fine game itself with many flaws, but it’s still important to me.

The first game I remember getting disappointed by was Shadow the Hedgehog the game. The early 2000s reintroduced me to the Sonic series after a long time gap from first playing Sonic 2 to Sonic Adventure 2. I ended up really getting into the series and then stopped for a bit after playing this game.

I’m going to pick Captain Quark from the Ratchet and Clank series, he’s human like but not actually human since he has only 3 fingers and it’s never said what species he is. I feel a lot of Ratchet and Clank characters can fall into this category.

The first one that I can remember had to have been Donkey Kong 64. Somehow we ended up getting the N64 Hot News VHS tape. At the time I felt that DK64 did live up to my expectations as a kid. Sorry but I was not hyped for Jet Force Gemini.
