This is almost as bad as when PySpark errors out: at least this actually tells you what went wrong (in a horrifically verbose way).

Likewise. I think I’ve found that it won’t update if I’ve syntax / import errors, and I also I need to save the file for it to kick in… or at least that seemed to work for me.

After mainly using python for years, it was cargo (and being able to distribute a binary which “just runs”) that turned me on to Rust… It was only after trying it that I truly realised the PITA the whole Python env management thing is.
