my husband's mother is Austrian, but he can't get an Austrian passport because if you were born before 1988 it has to be your father who is Austrian. And that, I think, tells you everything you need to know about Austria.

I had a book event in Surrey last night. Went to a friend's after to watch it, had the BEST time drinking wine and shouting at the telly, got home in the early hours. Totally worth it.
