Stop separating the genders? How to have fairness? Maybe it will create thought about the value of sports? Not everyone is a natural athlete, but MANY who are not, have VALUABLE skills in Music, Art, Speach, Leadership, Volunteerism, and other outlets. Are not non-sports AS valuable as sports???

Absolutely! These lying "leaders," are the kind of people you wouldn't want to meet in any enclosed space! Or a dark alley.... and maybe not even in a very busy, public space!

It'll have to happen a few times in a row for us to get down to someone we can semi-trust......?

Or .... Cook up whatever produce or other such soft and spoilable items... maybe you already have some rotten cabbage or moldy cheese laying around... use that!

Or..... dump some American liquor at his feet. NO throwing bottles please!

So very true. I went to a rural school. Options were already so limited in public rural schools. NO AP options. Few advanced options. Only 1 language. We were lucky to have a good music program. Technical/Applied programs were quite limited too. This is pretty much ALL rural public schools in MN

I'm planning on coming!

It looks like rain, so bring umbrellas, warm clothes, and maybe a camp chair, (in case you need to sit down!)

Thanks! I have been back to Ecuador several times since I was a volunteer. The changes there have been quite amazing!

How many of the volunteers have regular access to internet? Many countries are more developed than when I served, (33 years ago), but there are places that don't have easy internet or cell access even now.

And often the young exhibitors stay with their animals just because they've tired of the State Fair after several days there. They have dorms for exhibitors at the 4-H building and in several of the livestock barns and buildings.
