"Sorry, not sorry" was the day I fell in love with Melissa Hortman. She was calling our white male colleagues for playing cards instead of listening to the speeches of women legislators of color. She was a champion for good and others.

The revisor is busy enough without these shenanigans. And as someone who works in the mental health field, this is at best insulting.

Remember: whatever happens from here on out the Dems who vote for this GOP budget are complicit. Because they willingly surrendered the power they had to stop it.

The idea that allowing what’s been happening the last two months to continue is a way to avoid “blame” is madness

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

The bottom line is that Democrats will be blamed REGARDLESS. Dems should care less about rather Republicans or MAGA voters will blame them — when has MAGA EVER given them credit? For anything? Dems should be worried about further alienating the already disillusioned base they need more than ever…
New Quinniac poll:

If there's a shutdown...

32% blame Dems
31% blame Republicans
22% blame Trump

That's a majority blaming Trump and/or the GOP. Hang tough, Dems.

People should be calling this what it is, which is a crypto bailout. They're cutting cancer research so they can bailout rich, degenerate gamblers bsky.app/profile/ronf...
Let’s see, Donald Trump launched his crypto business right before taking office. Melania did the day before the inauguration. Junior launched a new one too. Oh, and of course Eric did.

1. Russia and North Korea completely withdraw from all Ukrainian territory

2. Ukraine will not give one inch of its soil to Russia

3. Russia will release all prisoners and kidnapped individuals

4. Russia will pay 100% of Ukraine's reconstruction

And to think we could have had a sane, serious government run by an intelligent person who would have acted in the best interests of Americans, and not Vladimir Putin.
