As-is carries the responsibility of documenting any damage, especially on eBay. Hit the seller up for a refund, partial if not full. If they refuse report them to eBay, I’ve had good results with eBays dispute team, as write up neg feedback. Hiding damage under as-is could also be considered fraud.
