Thanks to @fim.bsky.social I got to be inspired by the Kunié Sugiura at SFMoMA. The shapes and mixed media use with unique ways of showcasing photographic techniques was truly inspiring.📸🎨

“Hecate” (or “The Night of Enitharmon’s Joy, ~1795) on display at the Getty Center for William Blake: Visionary, January 2024. Enitharmon has a complex role in his mythology. While not apparent, her role and this image represents Blake’s attack on both patriarchy and Christianity.

“Mujer Saliendo del Psicoanalista” (1960) on display at the Art Institute of Chicago for the Remedios Varo: Science Fictions exhibit, November 2023. Quite the surrealist treat, rich with mysticism, activism, and the divine feminine.
