If Smith succeeds in stealing our CPP funds&rolling them into an Alberta Pension Plan they would be invested in AIMCO as well.
The Premier is now poised to raid the cookie jar. There is a very real possibility that public servants’ retirement savings will soon be invested in the UCP’s pet projects whether they are prudent investments or not, simply because the UCP and their friends will be in charge now. To make matters worse, because of recent UCP Legislation, Alberta’s public sector pension plans are not allowed to withdraw from AIMCo as an investment manager, even if they aren’t happy with the results.
