Do! The zines were so much fun and very popular.
This is the first time the module has run so I don't have any student examples yet.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what they put into their portfolios 😊

I have also ruined a film or two for friends by getting the reference made in the opening scenes and realising who the villain is based on their name from mythology or similar.
Sometimes I should keep my mouth shut.

It's a wonderful discovery for people.
I did read a huge amount of folktales (thanks to the local public library stocking Andrew Lang) and mythology (thanks to the nuns being obsessed by it!). I was lucky and it does mean I get a lot of references - but I love pointing them out to people
