I'm delighted you took a look at my (snow)Manfred!
But... his goggles are made from a toothpick and the scraps of a cocoa and a cafe latte carton. Manfred's winter fashion here in Japan is very budget-friendly!

Happy Holidays!
Wishing you good health and hoping that 2025 is even more prosperous for you.

Fashion-loving (snow) Manfred really could have used a better scarf, but all I could find was my tiny handkerchief. Sorry, Manfred!

Even so, I've had such a wonderful time at the end of the year, going around asking family members about the origins of my grandmother's favorite saying. It's brought back so many precious memories of her.
None of this would have happened without your response.

If only my grandmother were still with us (or if she were an official resident of the Grand Necropolis!), I could have asked her where it came from. Being the bookworm she was, I'm sure there must have been some story or source behind it.

My grandmother, the only person in our family whose first language was English, would use that phrase to scold us grandchildren. She used it to remind us that whatever we say to others is, ultimately, what we want to say to ourselves.

I'm delighted for your praise on this particular line!
Until your kind comment, I had always assumed "The mirror shows not the world but the soul" was either a common saying or a quote from some famous person.

Thank you for creating a space where we can express our gratitude directly. It means so much to me, and I deeply appreciate the effort you've made to connect with your fans. I wanted to share just one thing with you, but it became a bit long, so I decided to turn it into an image instead.
