I didn't actually get into Battle Network until adulthood but while I'm thinking about them here's some of my favorite designs from that series as well

Sooort of, I gave her the facepaint when i first made her because i was really into jason aaron thor at the time and it reminded me of Malekith, then when I ended up actually getting into RP I had a hard time actually coming up with why she had it.

Finally did my vn homework. Honestly, I was shocked how smooth of a read this was, esp after taking a month to get through Hanachirasu. Just very tightly paced and engaging from the get go.

"Red Seas Under Red Skies" by Scott Lynch
I can see why people felt let down by this after the first book. It promises both a swashbuckling pirate adventure and an epic casino heist, but doesn't really commit to either.
Still really enjoyed it though, particularly the pirate parts (I'm biased)
