World Book Day reading for me and my eldest. When they said they wanted to read the Chronicles of Narnia I suggested we skip straight to 🦁🧙♀️🚪but they insisted we do them all. I can't wait for this one to be over 🙃

My 7yo got the school's Golden Letter today which is a note home to say a piece of work has been selected for being excellent. Their influences are pretty obvious but they said it was inspired by @nadiashireen.bsky.social & @jamiesmart.bsky.social (My Gaelic is patchy so no translation 😄)

I swapped my non-working day this week, meaning a Friday morning to myself before school pick up at lunchtime. Time for a payday breakfast treat after a successful and busy week. And as it's Book Week Scotland, some breakfast reading!
