a poem titled "the creature" I live in its belly a stinking creature made of steel and bile I am digging at its bones making my own kind of life we can live together in its desiccating, rotting body tear open our own doorway to heaven I can't say that we'll survive I can't tell you that everything will be okay I just can't spend another fucking day in the muck, in the grime living my life like a shameful lie set fire to the grease and the mold and the festering turn away all of the flies plant our hope in the ground see if we can ever find a way out I will drop the weight, I will open up my guard I will let you in, will you let me in? so fucking sick of it spending my whole life in a fucking corpse I wanna build a home with the trannies and the freaks not be wrapped up in a necrotic shell I search for heaven but it's hard when you live in hell through the pus, through the shit I will climb my way up through its mouth or fall backwards into hell either way, I will find a way out
