One of my favourite parts is where Steve asks linus to add attribution to a segment in the podcast. Linus does so, Steve then says "thank you for your quick reply and action" but actually doesn't communicate that it was unsatisfactory

I think you need to educate yourself on ethical journalism.
Maybe, rather than providing me a link to a 3000 word article telling me it's "proof" you give me a direct quote of what you're trying to prove, then I can figure out what your point actually is.

Steve did not reach for comment before releasing his exposé. This is a fairly fundamental journalistic ethic that should be followed to prevent misinformation.

I know the email. Linus acted in good faith to add a citation. If it was not satisfactory, that's fine, Steve could have followed up then to clear it up. But Steve very clearly indicated he was happy with Linus' actions and appears to have left it at that.

No, my opinions are of my own. I watched the original 2023 drama unfold and Steve had some good points. Although he should have reached out of comment.
LTT then spent time to own up and take steps to improve their processes. Steve hasn't got it in him to do that

Steve gave no indication this was unsatisfactory, and gave every indication he was happy with the actions Linus has done to resolve the situation. Perhaps there was more to the exchange, but it appears as though he thanked Linus for his actions and left it alone.

With regards to the response. Yes, some dodgy communications from Linus. But the whole plagiarism thing? Steve said "thanks for the quick reply and action", which indicates it was resolved. And then he appears to leave it until now.
It was petty and he has no integrity to own up to fault.

They did not reach out for comment regard the Billet labs issue, and thus missed important key details relevant for the viewers. This has lead to misinformation being spread.
