First serious foray into air dry clay shenanigans. I sculpted the bird skull entirely from memory so it is not remotely accurate to any bird tbh

I lost the thread color i was using for my other cross-stitch project so its on indefinite hiatus until i find it again or get a new one
So i sketched out a new design and finished the basics. Now to finish lining out the shadow details and plan the colors

Decided to try my hand at creating my own cross stitching patterns, basically adjusting this one on the fly and using the pattern i made as more of a suggestion. Learning a lot, tho!

Its ALMOST done! I thought about taking it with me to finish up while i took a trip upstate, bur decided id rather start a new one and finish this one when i get home. This one forced me to become comfortable with the concept of french knots VERY fast lol

Our big valentines thing was getting tattoos together, but still they get me little treats to enjoy on the day of
I baked them heart shaped hand pies to show my appreciation. I dunno if pictures of those were taken before they got consumed tbh

My kits were supposed to arrive thursday but they were delayed, so I was in limbo until they came in yesterday. They're all very pretty and I love them, but I had to choose a least favorite to practice the other stitching methods. Still learning as I go!

And my first (serious) project is finished!! I had a lot of fun with it. The pattern I used is from @hooklinetinker.bsky.social, modified slightly from the example picture. Pretty great for a beginner piece, and I learned quite a bit on my first embroidery foray
