i have sensitive hearing so i was put on edge for the rest of the night, i had to take anxiety meds for the first time in a year to sleep.

well turns out my body didn't interact with it very well, so i woke up fatigued and didn't make any progress today. i'll make up for it tomorrow though!!

Progression (2)

To prevent softlocking if too many electronics are destroyed, some doors will unlock after some time and reveal a new room with loot. This is unreliable though and has a chance to spawn a new monster.

Progression

To progress, players need to find enough energy by the end of 3 floors to power the elevator. This energy is gained by finding and grinding electronics down into the elevator's battery.

There's no time limit, but staying on a floor for too long causes a huge difficulty spike.

Potions

Potions naturally spawn around the map, some can also spawn in special rooms or be created by monsters.

Potions have 2 different values, their contents, and how they're applied. Some potions will apply instantly, others will apply gradually or with a long delay. Their effects vary as well.

Monsters

Each monster does something unique, and most will modify the players' bodies in some way.
Each floor has an increasing difficulty value, which allows stronger monsters to spawn more frequently.

Weakness & Possession

Once you've become weakened, your character periodically becomes overtaken by lust and acts on their own. They'll grapple teammates, chase monsters, and mindlessly use their abilities.
Weaked players take much more damage, which can landslide into losing the game.

Lust System

Lust is increased through different means, whether it's through sexual encounters, body growth, or certain body parts being too big and rubbing when you walk.
When Lust reaches 100, your character ejaculates, and it goes back to 0. If this happens 3 times, your character becomes Weak.

Health System

Players have 2 health systems, "Health" and "Lust".

Health is pretty standard, but instead of dying you're incapacitated. Incapacitation takes a while to recover from, and takes longer each time it occurs.
If everyone's incapacitated, or if you're solo & taken by a monster, you lose.

Customization

All players will get to customize their character, and are allocated Player Points (PP) to change their body or gain abilities.
PPs are gained after earning EXP by finding items and encountering monsters.
Players' bodies can also be changed with potions, or by the monsters themselves

Who? What? Where??

You'll play as a voluntary explorer, who had to sign a consent waiver to enter an abandoned facility with 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 monsters. Your mission is to gather the research left inside and deliver it to the elevator's lockbox. Each floor yields more research, but stronger monsters.

i'll make a quick thread of the game's mechanics, but it'll be very surface level. i have a lot of things planned but it will take a while to make.
i'll post progress videos whenever i work on CLENCH, but keep in mind that i'm very new to unity, so it'll have to start with baby steps.
