Someone is very happy I'm home. Usually I work from home but I had to travel to the office today (almost a 2 hour drive, one way) so she was very sad all day and extremely elated when I walked in.

I made some cheesy popovers based on a reel a friend sent me. I also made sooji halwa earlier (not pictured). Sometimes I forget that I love cooking & baking.

Went out last night to the local brewery to try an egg nog porter. It was shockingly delicious. I also received an invite to join a women's group that meets at breweries once a month, so that's exciting.

Our local brewery is closing so we had to come out to get our favorite cranberry wheat beer, try the green tea beer and stock up on some 6 packs.
