All we can do at this point is expect the unexpected. He governs by rage. This is the same guy who publicly rants and raves about Obama but privately desires to be him. There are a good many screws loose in that cranium.

Touting Bouchard as brilliant is a mystery to me. It’s not simply his turnovers but I watch the man being turned inside out routinely by opposing rushers on a nightly basis. If Bouchard is so brilliant why do the big hockey brains in this league continually overlook him for a spot on Team Canada?

They are a miserable team to watch so I’m going to step away for a while. Gone are the days of McDavid scoring hilite reel goals. Firing the puck up the boards and hoping for the best is not entertaining hockey. Worst of all is mgmt standing firm in support of our weak goaltending.

I just watched Sigur Ros perform with our hometown symphony orchestra and it was amazing. I wish I was in Portland for this.

Nurse & Bouchard are two below avg D’s making elite level money that’s drained the pool and has prevented this team from securing an elite level tender. Neither will be asked to play for 🇨🇦 in the Olympics. Avs Makar makes $8mil/yr, is better than both combined and he will play for 🇨🇦. 💰well spent.

Yes, I agree. We’re not seeing the same McDavid we watched five years ago. Fewer and fewer highlight reel goals. Lately he seems pretty ordinary for a generational talent. I don’t see him inspiring his teammates to the degree that MacKinnon does. And Bouchard has been utterly atrocious.

It’s astounding how none of the past four Oilers GM’s have been able to build a proper team around McDavid. Only Holland came close. This Oilers franchise has squandered, and continues to squander, McDavid’s best years. He will regret signing his extension with this club. What an embarrassment.
