My son's caregiver called out sick, and it's cold & rainy. Our whole house is already getting over something respiratory, and trying to keep the ventilator dependent quadriplegic from catching anything. I won't be shamed. I'm doing my part in other ways.

Story time, folks. 10 yrs ago, my son was diagnosed with a new "disease" called Acute Flaccid Myelitis. What's that, you ask? He caught the same cold going around the jr high. Only in him, it attacked his spinal cord, leaving him a ventilator dependent quadriplegic.

At my son's apt on the Seattle University campus, the planes fly right overhead. We used to skip the traffic entering the city by getting off the hwy and coming in off Beacon Hill. As you're coming off the hill, you can see the planes stacked up, all waiting to come in one at a time. It's so cool!
