As a big fan of period drama, and the book this was based on, I was expecting to be disappointed by this TV drama on the Mitford sisters.

But having just watched all 6 episodes i am glad to say it was marvellous!

I have just learned about this letter writing project and it sounds wonderful. A great incentive to get back into old habits. Writing and receiving handwritten letters should come back into fashion. I may take the pledge!

I've just ordered a copy of Liz Berry's 'The Republic of Motherhood' off Vinted.
